Poster Session Sue Mraz at a poster session, during a University Research Symposium, talking about the project

On this page you will find information about the news and events that have shaped our project over the past several years. It features some of the people and places that have been part of the on-going process of our work.

It has always been the intention of the Sisters and University that the project would not be “just” an exhibit of the Sisters’ past. It has always been an important aspect of this project that the University use every opportunity possible to share with the academic and surrounding communities the vital and relevant role that Sisters continue to play in today’s society. Follow the links to read more about these important milestones of the Sisters in Healthcare History Project and how they have shared their past AND present with us.

Sisters Sr. Jacinta and Sr. Joachim Anne (Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm)

Through these personal experiences with the Sisters and our project, the Sisters have enriched our programs and activities and influenced the lives of our faculty, students, and staff. Our project is the beginning of what we hope will be a long, happy, and mutually productive association between the University and the congregations of Sisters participating in our project.
